Notion of Freedom is the second painting of two in which the artist used the same colors.  Harris wanted to explore the idea of creating two entirely different paintings using the same color scheme.  The story that she is telling is different, even if the colors are the same.  This painting shows wave patterns guided by the source, which supports the notion that freedom may not be absolute.
